Librarian songs

I’ve been Stephen Cohened and Michael Stephened,
I’ve been Jenny Levined and George Needhamed

I’ve been shifted, tamed and library dusted
And it’s all good to be radically trusted
But I need one second please to just catch my breath!

I’ve been mashed up and OPML'd
Seen API’s and I think they’re swell

I’ve been linked and kinked and blogrolled too
I’ve been wiki’d, flickr’d, furled, squidooed
But my lens just cracked and I don’t know what to do!

I’ve been typepadded, been wordpressed
I’ve been bloggered twice, I’ve been RSS’d

I’ve been virtually bootcamped, el two oh’d
Seen just about everything could be showed
I got ajax, java, feedster, and odeo

I’ve been technoratied and rocketboomed
I’ve been podcasted and you-tubed

Been tagged and memed and permalinked
I’ve been tracked back, facebooked, and even winked
Lost ma myspace password, what’s a boy to do?

I seen Jotpsot, Gmail and suprglue
Listened to Pandora, podpop, itunes too

Read 43 things, and rode the cluetrain
Frappr'd and friendstered till I was numb in ma brain
Everything’s changing I hope I don’t go insane.

Gettin' Blogger cred for my service creed
I got Library Garden and plenty of seed

My post's been hosted, my feeds been fed,
Got something to say that ain’t been said,
But I just discovered somebody hacked by feed

(I ain't quittin' my day job...)

Library Science, Seattle's "deep-geek-art-dub" band, create theatrical, groove-oriented dub music using old recording techniques invented by artists of the 1970s, but in their own unique, oddball way.
